We are looking for an enthusiastic event manager with a “Can Do” attitude to assist our organisation in hosting events that strengthen our organisation’s image, increase customer loyalty and enhance our brand-customer experience.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years of experience in event management/marketing
- Have the ability to interact effectively with people from different socioeconomic, cultural and ethnic backgrounds
- Professional presentation skills
- Technical design, etc. have the level of business knowledge to plan and manage the issues that are elements of the project
- Graduated from related departments of universities
- Fluent in English
- Expertise in customer management
- Suitable for flexible working hours
- No travel restrictions
- No relationship with military service
- Able to drive an active vehicle
FUNDAMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
The event manager is responsible for managing the entire process of an event from the planning stage to the day-of and post-event evaluation, researching and securing event spaces, planning and managing our event calendar, negotiating quotes and agreements with vendors, assisting the General Manager with event marketing, tracking event timeframes and budgets, making connections and fulfilling event objectives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Doing research on the requests and/or suggestions received during the event planning period and preparing artistic content, creating audio-visual bibliographies,
- Planning, following up and realising the operation of contracts, travel, accommodation, hospitality and technical requirements by providing direct communication with the artists during the preparation and implementation processes of the events,
- Preparation of the necessary visuals, texts, technical specifications and similar materials for the events, sharing them with the relevant departments and following up the approval processes,
- Follow-up of research, quotation, planning, production and documentation of technical needs and materials that may be required for the realisation of the event,
- Preparation and follow-up of the necessary financial and official reports after the event,
- Creation and sorting of archive material related to the events programme.
- Short and long term planning and management of events and sales.
- Maintain or exceed budgeted sales and profits in all event areas.
- Propose, develop and implement effective marketing plans to generate event revenues.
- Evaluates each event job to ensure proper execution of work.
- Train, supervise and work with event staff to solicit and book banqueting and catering functions as well as planning, selling and executing functions.
- Leads the event team to build long-term, value-based client relationships that ensure sales goals are met.
- Manages all phases of the event department including but not limited to sales, planning, marketing, service and administrative procedures.
